Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been taken by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: „It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
„These kinds of products being sold, normally online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their security.
„You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health.“
